About

Receipt Maker is an app for iPhone and iPad that turns a payment into a clean PDF receipt in about 30 seconds: rent, cash, deposits, partial payments and private sales. This website explains what the app does and lets you make a single receipt for free in your browser.

What we believe

• A receipt records a real payment. The website and the app are made for money that actually changed hands. They are not for creating false documents, and they do not imitate shop or restaurant receipts.
• Your data stays with you. The online form never leaves your browser. In the app, receipts are stored on your phone. We do not run a server that collects them.
• No legal promises. We explain what a receipt usually contains. We do not claim that a document is accepted everywhere, and a receipt is not a tax invoice.
• One site per language. Each language version is written for its readers, with local currency, paper size and date format, rather than translated word for word.
• The website is enough for one receipt. The app is for people who issue receipts every month: it keeps them on your phone, repeats last month's receipt in one tap and lets you sign and send them.
